As a wedding photographer, Hotel Carmichael is one of my favorite venues because every space has been intentionally designed with beauty in mind. The grand lobby provides a sophisticated setting for first looks and bridal portraits, while the elegant staircases, luxurious suites, and refined architectural details create timeless backdrops throughout the day. Just outside the hotel, Carmel City Center offers charming streetscapes, landscaped courtyards, and the nearby Monon Trail, giving couples incredible variety without ever traveling far from the venue.

Some of my favorite portrait locations include the grand hotel entrance, the elegant lobby, the Cole Porter Ballroom, the outdoor terrace, and the nearby Palladium and Carter Green. As the sun begins to set, the surrounding streets and beautifully illuminated architecture create romantic evening portraits that perfectly complement the sophistication of the hotel.
