As a wedding photographer, The Barn at Bay Horse Inn is one of my favorite venues because of its incredible variety of portrait locations. The open fields, mature trees, peaceful pond, charming white fencing, and beautifully restored barn each provide a completely different look, allowing couples to enjoy a diverse wedding gallery without ever leaving the property. The natural surroundings are especially beautiful throughout the spring, summer, and fall, while the bright interior of the barn photographs beautifully in every season.
Some of my favorite portrait locations include the pond at sunset, the tree-lined drive, the white fences surrounding the property, the barn entrance, and the open fields that glow during golden hour. As evening falls, the warm lighting inside the barn creates a cozy, romantic atmosphere that’s perfect for capturing heartfelt first dances, emotional speeches, and joyful celebrations on the dance floor.
