As a wedding photographer, Avon Gardens is one of my favorite outdoor venues because every direction offers something beautiful. The landscaped gardens provide endless opportunities for romantic portraits, while the winding pathways, colorful flower beds, charming bridges, and mature trees create a wonderful variety of backgrounds without ever leaving the property. The natural light throughout the gardens is especially beautiful during the late afternoon and evening, creating soft, flattering portraits that feel timeless.

Some of my favorite portrait locations include the garden gazebo, the winding stone pathways, the flower gardens, the charming bridges, and the open lawns during golden hour. As the sun begins to set, warm light filters through the trees and across the gardens, creating a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for romantic portraits before the evening celebration begins.
