Designed by renowned golf course architect Pete Dye, the property combines scenic fairways, mature trees, and thoughtfully designed event spaces to create a wedding setting that’s both elegant and inviting. Conveniently located in the heart of Carmel, Plum Creek offers couples a peaceful backdrop that’s just minutes from downtown Indianapolis.

One of the venue’s greatest strengths is its balance of natural beauty and timeless design. The Lynnwood Room serves as the centerpiece for receptions, featuring soaring cathedral ceilings, a wall of expansive windows overlooking the golf course, and a neutral color palette that complements virtually every wedding style. Whether you’re envisioning a classic celebration, a romantic garden-inspired reception, or a modern event with elegant details, the space provides a beautiful canvas for bringing your vision to life.

Couples appreciate how easily the entire wedding day comes together at Plum Creek. Outdoor ceremonies are held beneath the charming gazebo overlooking the course, while indoor ceremonies are also available should the weather change. After exchanging vows, guests can enjoy cocktail hour before gathering in the Lynnwood Room for dinner and dancing, all without leaving the property. As a wedding photographer, Plum Creek Golf Club is one of my favorite golf course venues because it offers so much variety throughout the property. The tree-lined fairways, manicured greens, charming gazebo, and surrounding landscape provide countless opportunities for timeless portraits. Inside, the ballroom’s oversized windows fill the room with soft natural light, creating beautiful images from getting ready through the final dance.

Some of my favorite portrait locations include the ceremony gazebo, the winding golf cart paths, the fairways overlooking the course, the mature trees surrounding the property, and the Lynnwood Room as evening light pours through the windows. During golden hour, the setting sun casts a warm glow across the course, creating romantic portraits that feel effortless and timeless. As the celebration continues indoors, the welcoming atmosphere of the ballroom provides the perfect backdrop for heartfelt speeches, first dances, and joyful celebrations with family and friends.
