Established in 1889, this historic private club combines old-world elegance with exceptional hospitality, offering couples a wedding venue that feels timeless, sophisticated, and uniquely Indianapolis. One of the Columbia Club’s greatest defining features is its remarkable architecture. As a wedding photographer, the Columbia Club is one of my favorite venues because it offers timeless elegance at every turn. The grand staircases, richly detailed interiors, and oversized windows create beautiful portrait opportunities throughout the day, while Monument Circle just outside the front doors provides one of Indianapolis’ most iconic backdrops. The combination of historic architecture and vibrant downtown scenery allows couples to enjoy a wedding gallery filled with incredible variety without traveling far from the venue.

Some of my favorite portrait locations include the grand staircase, the elegant ballroom, the club’s historic hallways, the balconies overlooking Monument Circle, and the steps leading to the monument itself.
